Reflexology
How does Reflexology help?
Reflexology is used by people for a variety of reasons. Some use it alongside conventional medical care, to help them manage or cope with a specific physical, mental or emotional problem. Others use it as means of relaxation, or to help maintain good health.
Reflexology sessions can promote the following by gently rebalancing the body:
Relaxation, Improved mood
Better sleep, Relief from stress and tension, Relief from anxiety, A sense of general well-being.
Who can use Reflexology?
Reflexology is suitable for most people, but there are certain conditions where you should avoid Reflexology and some (such as diabetes) where your doctor's permission may be needed.
That is why Sue will start every Reflexology session with a consultation to make sure that it is right for you.
What is a Reflexology treatment like?
After the consultation, Sue will invite you to remove your shoes and socks and to relax on a comfortable treatment couch. She will cleanse your feet and then use a variety of Reflexology techniques suited to your needs.
Treatments last about an hour. Some people are worried that it might be ticklish, but Sue will make sure that the pressure she uses is comfortable for you.
Some people may be sensitive about their feet, but there is no need to worry– all shapes and sizes are welcome!
“The reflexology treatment has been most beneficial. I feel that my health and well-being have improved. The sessions have been tailored to relieve my symptoms and there has been a great improvement in my energy levels, particularly. The treatments have alleviated my headaches, as well as back pain. Sue is very caring, offering a wonderful holistic approach and I have no hesitation recommending her treatments.“

“My treatments with Sue were very relaxing! I felt very calm and de-stressed afterwards. I had problems sleeping and waking many times through the night but after only a few sessions I managed to sleep much better, hardly waking up until morning. It was so helpful. I would recommend Sue’s treatment to anybody.“
